st vincent is indeed amazing. i downloaded the new album last week, and preordered it before the second song was over. her label is doing a deal where people who preorder get a free 7" (while supplies last).

Oh man, I never responded! Oops! I meant to...just been so bad about internet etc lately.

Anyhow, wow, you did get the album early! Matt bought it a couple days ago and it's great! Any favorite songs yet?

i got it about a week early from the preorder, but my record player isn't set up so i haven't listened to the 7" yet. it actually has a b side that's not on the album! i'll probably post it on my lj some time after i get my new computer.
as for favorite songs... it's hard to say since they're all so good. the obvious choices would be to say the ones i heard first, the strangers and actor out of work. save me from what i want stands out to me too.
